> China’s anti-graft chief He Guoqiang Thursday urged a discipline inspection newspaper to serve as a platform to reveal public opinions and lash out at corruption.
In a letter forwarded to the China Discipline Inspection Daily to mark its 15th founding anniversary, He said efforts are needed to give full play to the paper’s role as a mainstream media to promote the building of a clean government.
He Guoqiang, secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China (CPC), said news coverage of the daily should be true to reality, life and people.
He encouraged the paper to report the Party’s new thoughts and new measures to build a clean government as well as fresh achievements and experience in curbing corruption over the past 60years.
He also urged the newspaper to make innovation and respond to people’s concerns in an active and timely manner.
